Engineered specifically for high-efficiency furnace configurations, this replacement part, identified as MPN 100074673, restores the communication loop between the burner and the ignition control module to prevent short-cycling.

This component operates by utilizing the principle of flame rectification, where the rod produces a small electrical current when submerged in the ionized air of the burner flame. The system controller detects this current to confirm that the pilot or main burner is lit; if the rod fails to sense the flame, the gas valve closes immediately to eliminate the risk of unburned fuel accumulation.

Key System Performance Baselines:

Flame Rectification Accuracy: Ensures stable micro-amp signaling for precise combustion control.

High-Temperature Durability: Crafted from heat-resistant alloys to withstand continuous thermal stress within the combustion chamber.

Seamless Integration: Designed for exact fitment within Lochinvar equipment to ensure manufacturer-specified safety standards.

⚠️ Application Profile: Specifically designed for professional maintenance and repair of Lochinvar high-efficiency gas-fired HVAC furnace systems.
