The ASCO 8262H002 Solenoid Valve is a direct-acting, normally closed 2-way/2-position electromechanical valve designed to control the flow of liquids and gases via an energized coil actuator. Constructed with a brass body and equipped with an NBR seal, this valve supports a nominal pipe size of 1/8 inch and uses NPTF threaded inlet and outlet connections. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -13°F to 131°F and can handle fluid temperatures up to 180°F. Compatible media: air, ammonia, biodiesel fuel, fuel oil, inert gases, light oil, liquid propane gas, natural gas, oxygen, steam, and water. The valve includes the coil and seal as part of the assembly and can be mounted in horizontal or vertical orientations.
