Featuring 2" NPT female threaded system and pump connections, this unit mounts directly to the pump suction inlet to eliminate long straight pipe runs and costly reducing elbows.
The Suction Diffuser Plus incorporates B&G's patented Flow Cone design, which eliminates fluid recirculation zones, directs media into the pump inlet, and ensures a uniform velocity profile to reduce stress on the impeller and shaft. It is factory-equipped with a heavy-duty orifice cylinder for continuous debris protection and a 16-mesh bronze fine start-up strainer to clean foreign particles during initial system commissioning.
