The DIXON - 2DM3-B is a hose coupling for fast connection and disconnection without hand tools, with a sleeve-type locking mechanism. This brass coupling provides a sealed connection at the specified pressure rating and within the specified operating temperature range, and is integrated with a tubular valve to control flow. It is intended for installation on compatible hose or pipe ends using the specified NPT connection and thread size. The fitting is zinc plated and has a yellow color for visual identification, and is compatible with industrial interchange requirements when used with hoses/pipe fittings that match the specified connection type and size (3/8"-18 NPT; 3/8 in hose I.D.). For use in fluid or air transfer applications with compatible hose/pipe connections.
