The GAST - AA840A is a vacuum relief valve that provides vacuum relief at a preset vacuum level to limit negative pressure in connected systems. It operates by opening to allow ambient air in when internal pressure falls below a preset vacuum level, then reseals as pressure equalizes. The valve is compatible with Gast brand equipment and replaces listed Gast part numbers.
