The Thomas 2688CE44 is a twin-cylinder piston air compressor and vacuum pump with a WOB-L (wobble) piston design. It operates on 115V AC single-phase power at 60 Hz at a rated 1/3 hp output, in a tankless configuration. It provides a free-air delivery ranging from 2.72 CFM at 20 psi up to 3.15 CFM at 0 psi, a maximum continuous pressure of 25 psi, and a maximum vacuum of 27.6 in Hg. It is rated at a maximum speed of 1,750 RPM, a full-load current of 4.7 A, and a measured sound level of 63 dBA (@ 60 psi). The operating temperature range is 50-104°F. Construction includes an aluminum cylinder, a shaded-pole motor (thermally protected, with a high-torque start winding), and corrosion-resistant sandwich valves in stainless steel.
