The Caleffi QuickSetter™ 132 Series static balancing valve accurately sets and monitors the flow rate of heating and cooling transfer fluid supplied to fan coils, terminal units, and closed hydronic loops. Proper hydronic system balancing ensures the mechanical system operates cleanly according to engineering design specs, delivering targeted building thermal comfort while maximizing energy efficiency across the facility plant.
The onboard flow meter features an integrated bypass circuit built directly into the brass valve body, keeping the internal flow path completely isolated and shut off during normal operating conditions. This design prevents fouling, scale buildup, and system debris from clogging the gauge window. Pulling the visual indicator ring instantly activates the bypass circuit to give an accurate, cloud-free GPM flow scale readout—allowing fast loop balancing without requiring expensive digital differential pressure gauges or reference charts.
