The Caleffi DISCALDIRTMAG™ Series 5461 high-efficiency commercial air, dirt, and magnetic separator delivers exceptional multi-function component protection for closed hydronic heating and cooling systems. Built to handle light commercial applications, this unit continuously eliminates micro-bubbles of trapped air and traps non-ferrous dirt particles down to 5 microns while your mechanical equipment remains in full operation.
Featuring a powerful, external clip-on neodymium rare-earth magnetic collar, the DISCALDIRTMAG achieves a massive 2.5 times the capture performance of a standard inline debris separator. By isolating up to 100% of circulating ferrous impurities and magnetite sludge common in B2B piping networks, it prevents modern high-efficiency boiler heat exchangers from scaling, minimizes pump circulator wear, and preserves overall plant thermal performance.
