The Caleffi Discal 1.25 NPT High-Efficiency Air Separator (551007A) is a high-performance system component engineered to deliver premium fluid distribution efficiency and reliability. Built with a heavy-duty brass housing, this unit provides exceptional durability and outstanding resistance to demanding system environments. Its low-maintenance, high-performance architecture makes it an ideal solution for hydronic heating and cooling configurations.

Engineered to continuously clear entrained micro-bubbles down to a macroscopic level, the DISCAL 551 series purges accumulated system air with minimal head loss across the circuit layout. Inside the primary chamber, an advanced glass-reinforced nylon internal element coalescing assembly slows internal flow velocity, forcing hidden micro-bubbles to aggregate, float upward, and automatically escape via its high-capacity automatic atmospheric air vent structure. This full de-aeration cycle dramatically mitigates ongoing line chatter noise, stops oxygen-driven localized pipe corrosion, eliminates cavitation damage inside commercial circulator assemblies, and lowers recurring call-backs.
