The Caleffi DiscalDirt 546096A is a premier heavy-duty, dual-action combination air and dirt separator designed engineered to protect commercial and high-end residential hydronic loop infrastructure. By combining an internal micro-bubble coalescing mesh with a low-velocity lower settling zone, it simultaneously purges 100% of entrained micro-bubbles and eliminates particulate matter down to 5 microns.
Constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant brass, this 1-1/4" NPT unit dramatically minimizes maintenance requirements, guards expensive circulator pumps from cavitation, and eliminates air locks across active heating and cooling systems.
