The Taco 0018e™ is a versatile, variable-speed wet-rotor circulator powered by an advanced ECM permanent magnet motor. Designed to handle modern zoning configurations with precision, it comes equipped with integrated Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, allowing technicians and installers to pair with the intuitive 0018e Mobile App to optimize settings, control operation, and diagnose system faults directly from a smartphone or tablet. It is ideal for closed-loop hydronic heating networks, radiant loops, and zoning systems using circulators or thermal zone valves.
By transitioning away from conventional single-speed operation, the 0018e cuts electrical consumption by up to 85% compared to equivalent standard split-capacitor pumps. It features 4 dedicated operating profiles—including an intelligent, self-adjusting activeADAPT® proportional pressure mode that responds to real-time system feedback to prevent the whistling noise and wear caused by over-pumping. Standard reliability features include a multicolor diagnostic LED, Taco’s SureStart® automatic rotor unblocking/air purging routine, and a built-in Bio Barrier® filter to protect the internal cartridge from circulating iron oxide particles.
