The Taco Comfort Solutions® Potable Water Zone Sentry® Zone Valve is a lead-free certified, high-performance ball valve engineered to provide reliable fluid isolation across open potable systems. Certified to strict NSF 61 G standards, this valve features advanced microcircuit-based logic coupled with a gear-driven electronic actuator. This design delivers incredible flow capacity (Cv) and high shutoff pressure ratings while operating on a fraction of the electricity used by traditional heat-motor zone valves.
Key Performance Features:
- Industry-Leading Energy Efficiency: The intelligent actuator design draws minimal continuous power once fully opened, allowing up to 12 Zone Sentry valves to be wired directly into a single standard 40VA transformer.
- Universal Installation & Bi-directional Flow: Built with ultimate field versatility in mind, the valve can be installed in any pipeline orientation. Its bi-directional flow profile means it cannot be installed backward.
- Smart Diagnostics & Simple Servicing: Features an integrated, multi-function green LED panel that guides troubleshooting by indicating full operational functionality or capacitor charge status. It is finished with an easy wire quick-connect terminal and a quick-release actuator clip for no-drain toolless replacements.
Application Profile: Ideal for combination domestic water and hydronic heating systems, culinary water main lines, and secondary water shutoffs to commercial or residential potable water infrastructures.
