Engineered for maximum fluid efficiency in multi-zone residential and light commercial hydronic heating layouts, this valve utilizes a high-torque motorized ball mechanism rather than an expanding thermal motor. This design cuts electrical power consumption by up to 93% while establishing an incredibly reliable, positive shut-off that completely prevents ghost flow and hot water bleed-through into inactive zones.
The Z050C3-2 features a universal, bidirectional flow architecture, making it highly versatile for mixing or diverting applications within bypass loops and radiant manifolds. Its patented quick-release actuator head can be snapped onto the raw brass valve body in either direction, allowing effortless installation in compact mechanical closets. Equipped with a vivid external green LED for real-time diagnostic reporting and a simple button for manual override operations, this valve provides mechanics with unprecedented field usability.
