Taco Zone Sentry 1" NPT Commercial Flow Valve Head

The Taco Comfort Solutions ZR024T2-1 is the official replacement motorized actuator head assembly engineered explicitly for the Zone Sentry® series hydronic and chilled water ball valves. Designed for seamless on-site serviceability, this modular high-torque actuator utilizes a patented quick-release locking ring mechanism that allows technicians to completely replace a compromised motor head without draining the physical hydronic loop or dismantling the structural pipe bodies.

Engineering Features & Diagnostics:

• Universal Series Compatibility: Fits perfectly across all 1/2" up to 1" standard Taco Normally Closed (NC) sweat, threaded, or press-fit motorized ball body configurations.
• Microcircuit Logic Engine: Utilizes a high-efficiency solid-state printed circuit board inside that charges a rapid-discharge storage capacitor, cycling the internal gear train with zero mechanical drag or structural layout constraints.
• Toolless Wiring Hub: Built with an exterior premium plug-in quick terminal block strip. Contractors can insert and secure low-voltage thermostat connections without stripping or twisting structural copper lines.
• Live Operational Verification: Features a forward-facing bright emerald-green LED illuminating beacon that explicitly diagnostic-codes whether the zone head is receiving an active call for heat or cycling its end switch.

Field Manual Overrides: Features a mechanical top-crown screwdriver slot manual override. Under power-loss situations, an automated system cycle can be bypassed by pressing down and rotating the head assembly manually up to 90 degrees to lock the interior mechanics open.
