The Taco ZVC404-EXP-4 Expandable 4-Zone Valve Control Matrix (ZVC404-EXP-4) is a contractor-grade hydronic system control module engineered to deliver professional multi-zone zoning efficiency and diagnostic clarity. Housed in a durable Type 1 compact enclosure, this multi-zone panel simplifies the complex wiring networks typically associated with 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire zone valves. Its modular, intuitive circuit board layout eliminates disorganized line configurations while optimizing overall hydronic operational safety.
Equipped with an advanced command architecture, the ZVC404-EXP-4 features switchable priority settings, built-in priority protection, and automated post-purge/pump-exercise timers to constantly maintain systemic fluid performance. Exterior LED diagnostic indicator windows provide instant optical troubleshooting for thermostats, zone valves, and internal power delivery. Designed for scalable configurations, this expandable multi-zone control platform seamlessly interfaces with additional -EXP modules via a master/slave daisy chain layout, allowing your building system infrastructure to seamlessly scale up to 120 total heating zones with absolute code-compliant reliability.
